We are a couple on a microfarm in Vermont, trying this whole sustainable living thing, since 2004. It's hard.
So far, we've had Tamworth pigs, Percheron horses, Icelandic sheep, Milking Devon cows, American Blue Rabbits, Icelandic chickens, Toulouse geese, Midget White Turkeys, honey bees, Great Pyrenese guardian dogs and Icelandic Sheepdogs.
We make maple syrup. Cheese. We forage mushrooms. We log. We build. We can. We dehydrate. We bake bread. We eat really, really well.
Always something happening! These are little snippets of whatever is going on.
