It's the soundtrack that accompanied a heart breaking story on tiktok. Giorgio Lo Porto is an Italian musician living in London, and he shared a video on tiktok of his neighbor, Emil, having a piano duet with him across their wall. The neighbor is a shy 78 years old widow originally from Poland, and just lost his wife due to covid. The two neighbors established a strong bond, until Emil passed away in his sleep, which then Lo Porto decided to write this piece, Dear Emil, and dedicate it to his former neighbor.
